We saw a herd of buffalo up close, a family of elephants, numerous birds including eagles, many herons of different sizes, and even a beautiful kingfisher. "Had a great experience with Ansa Pottuvil Water Safari! While we didn't see as many animals as we had hoped, the trip was still very enjoyable and eventful from start to finish. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and made the entire 2-hour safari worthwhile. Cruising through the waterways, taking in the peaceful surroundings, and experiencing nature up close was a lot of fun. The guide was friendly, and the overall experience was relaxing and memorable. "An excellent way to see wildlife in a peaceful and natural setting. We did the tour in the evening and were lucky enough to see a whole herd of elephants. The boat has no motor, which makes the experience very quiet and relaxing. We brought rain jackets and an umbrella with us, and that completely saved us during the heavy rain that caught us on the way. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. As soon as we returned, they immediately helped us with the logistics of changing the kids out of their wet clothes. Highly recommended experience."
