Overview & Experience
Star Rest Surf Camp experienced surf instructors will be there to guide you through two hours of surf lessons per day. Do not worry if you do not have a surfboard as you can rent all the surf equipment provided at the camp. You can also enjoy daily drives to local surf spots; the locations vary depending on the day’s wave conditions. Lastly, enjoy a complimentary massage for your sore muscles after a long day of surf lessons and catching waves.

"Don‘t look further this is the place to be at🤙 If you like it quiet but still central to Arugam Bay and family vibes with cute cats you have to stay some days here. You can spot elephants, peacocks, deers and crocodiles on the way to the surfspots🤩 Ansa, Ibu and Fin were great surfteachers always ready to smile😄 The Yoga of Melin is very relaxing and helps to recover from surfing🧘"

"I came to Arugam Bay to take a break and somehow ended up here almost by accident. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I made. The rooms and facilities are simple, but that's not why you come here. You come for the people. This place has a real surf family vibe. The camp itself is really nice, the is super clean, breakfast and dinner are handmade which is lovely and always really tasty, the teacher are all super nice and really welcoming! I had Ansa as my teacher and we had lots of fun but also our lessons really helped me to get better at surfing! I think it’s a really nice camp if u want to learn to surf of to even get better!"
